  • D.Gifta(Final year IT), R.Abin Jilna(Final year IT attended a National Level TechnicalSymposium conducted by Arunachala College of Engineering for Women,Velichanthai and presented and has secured third prize on a paper ,”Fingerprint based E-voting system using Aadhar database”
  • A.P.Rachelin Thomas(Third year IT) attended Youth for talk and selected for Regional level conducted by ICT Academy in St.Xavier’s College of Engineering,Nagercoil.
  • R.Lenin Royal (second year IT)-attended two days workshop on ”World Biggest International Hands on IOT and ethical hacking” , by World Record Holder Wikitechy and Microsoft Research Community group,Chennai.
  • All our department students did their internship in various companies like Nyeste Venture technologies, Paladin software and BSNL.
  • A one-day technical talk on “Visualize the future” was organized by IT department at the IIT Bombay Remote Center on 17-10-2022 at Bethlahem Institute of Engineering, Karungal . Ms.Jegana (HOD,IT department) welcomes the guest and introduced the programme to all. The presidential addressing was given by the Principal Dr.C.Emmy Prema. The technical talk was chaired by Mr.K.S.Sivabharath(Managing Director,Codehunters) and Mr.Gamaliel Das(Chief Operating Officer,Codehunters).
  • On account of the technical talk on “VISUALIZE THE FUTURE” the resource person spoke briefly about Hackathon, and events like how to organize a team,planning and preparation statergies involved, ideologies and presentation procedures. and also told about Bitcoin and blockchain technology. They also shared their ideas on how to crack interviews like stuffs that are to be included in the resume. They also motivated us to do unique challenging projects .They asked us to practice several mock interviews and sample interview questions.
  • The technical talk was very interesting and gave the opportunity to discuss about the recent technologies and by visualizing about the future. The program was successfully concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Shini Mol ,final year IT to the resource person and to all the participants.

    • Industrial visit to Infogein IT solutions –web design and development kochi

    Industrial visits have their own importance in a career of a student who is pursuing a professional degree. Students of Second year B. Tech (IT) had an one day industrial visit to Infogein IT solutions –web design and development (kochi ) on 02-11-2023 accompanied by the department faculty in-charges students were divided into 12 per batch for the visit and the interaction with the industry person. Infogein IT solutions –web design and development (kochi) Software conducted very informative session for the students.

    Workshop On “Mobile Application Development”

    A one-day Workshop On “Mobile Application Development” was organized By IT department at the Computer Lab-IV Center on 16-02-2024 at Bethlahem Institute of Engineering,Karungal. Ms.Jonisha,III/IT department welcomes the guest and introduced the program to all. The presidential addressing was given by the Ms.Jegana(HoD,IT department.The technical talk was chaired by Mr.Sajeevan Harries(Chief operation officer), Mr. Vijin Kumar( Project Manager) and Mr.Sujin Kumar(Team Leader) at Foxton Reserch Tech.
