ONAM DAY
The Onam Day celebration on 13-09-2024 was a vibrant and culturally enriching event, marking the traditional harvest festival of Kerala. The day commenced with a warm welcome address from the Principal, followed by a detailed explanation of Onam's significance. Students and faculty participated in a variety of activities, including traditional dance performances, musical renditions, and a sumptuous Onam Sadhya, showcasing the region's rich culinary heritage. The highlight of the event was the Pookalam competition, where students displayed their creativity through elaborate floral designs. The celebrations concluded with a series of engaging games and a vote of thanks from the organizing committee. Overall, the event successfully fostered cultural appreciation and unity within the college community.
CHRISTMAS DAY
The Christmas Day celebration held on December 22, 2023, was a joyous and memorable occasion. The event began with a soulful prayer song performed by the college choir, setting a serene and uplifting tone for the festivities. The subsequent prayer added a spiritual dimension, highlighting the significance of the Christmas season. Dr. C. Praylin Selva Blessy extended a warm welcome to all attendees. Principal Dr. C. Emmy Prema, in her felicitation address, emphasized the importance of coming together to celebrate the festive season. The Director shared a heartfelt Christmas message, reflecting on the values of love, joy and unity that the occasion represents. The highlight of the celebration was the students' performances, which included dances, songs and skit. The festivities continued with a Lucky Draw event, adding excitement and surprise to the occasion. To spread the joy of Christmas, all staff members and students received Christmas gifts and the management distributed cakes to everyone present. These gestures symbolized the spirit of giving and sharing that defines Christmas, making the event a truly festive and inclusive celebration.
COLLEGE DAY
The colorful BETHFEST began with a hymn to the Lord Almighty by the college choir.The Principal Dr.C.Emmy Perma delivered the welcome speech and dignitaries were felicitated by the Director Mr.Isan. . In his presidential address, Shri. Sagayam spoke on the topic “Thinking India: The Role of Young People in Nation Building” The Principal, Dr.EmmyPerma, presented the annual report showcasing the academic achievements, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities of students and faculty during the academic year 2023-2024. All the participants were provided with free drinks and meals during the event. The institution had set rewards for the winners. Chief Guest Shri. Sagayam presented awards to the winners and commended them for their outstanding performances. He also encouraged them to pursue their dreams.

At 10:00 a.m., Principal Dr. Emmy Prema lit the lamp to begin the Onam celebration. The pupils created a stunning Pookalam for the entryway. Anjali, a second-year CSE student, greeted everyone. In her speech, our Principal wished a happy Onam to all of the Bethlahem Institute of Engineering students as well as other attendees. She claimed that celebrations like Onam foster brotherhood and bring people together.. Following the inauguration, the students gave candy to both staff and other pupils. The institution sponsored the "Pookalam" competition in the afternoon, with Bethlahem employees serving as the judges.

The highlight of the day is a vibrant cultural program, showcasing student performances, including music, dance, and skits that capture the holiday spirit. The event also includes a Secret Santa gift, adding an element of surprise and joy. Finally the Ms.Mary Jerald, AP/Mathematics delivered the vote of thanks.

She proceeded to present the college's annual report highlighting its achievements and on-going initiatives, underscoring the transformative impact of education. Chief Guest Dr. A. Kaliyamurthy M.A., Ph.D graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, underscoring the college's commitment to diversity. He delivered a thought-provoking address. He commenced his speech by delving into the rich tapestry of Tamilnadu educational system, emphasizing how education plays as an important role in shaping individuals. The felicitation of meritorious students and staff ensued, acknowledging their dedication and perseverance. The cultural segment, featuring captivating performances by students, infused vibrancy into the evening's proceedings.

The Onam celebration was inaugurated by Dr.C.Emmy Perma, the Principal, by lighting the lamp at 10:30am. The programme was followed up by a prayer song. The students made a beautiful Pookalam in the entrance. AnuPriya, III CSE student welcomed the gathering. Our Principal, addressed the gathering, wished all the students of Bethlahem Institute of Engineering and others a Happy Onam. She said that the festival like Onam unites everyone and develops fraternity.. After the inauguration the students distributed sweets to the students and staff members. In the afternoon the “Pookalam” contest was organized on behalf of the institution and the judging panel was from the staff of Bethlahem B.ed college of Education and winners of the competition were honored with prizes during the college cultural.

Our Principal Dr. Jerald Jeba Kumar welcomed the chief guest and presented inaugural address and highlighted that college is committed to inculcate three virtues of human life in the students through 3P’s: Persistence, Preservance and Propriety and 3C’s: Creativity, Confidence and Courage. This motto is deeply embedded in the heart of our students as they move ahead to win more accolades.A very inspirational speech was delivered by Mr.C.Jebashiamony, He emphasised students on moral education..A prize distribution ceremony was conducted to felicitate and recognize the talent of students in variousfields like Academics, Art, Cultural and Sports etc. Ms.Femila announced the award of Excellenceand presented the presentation of prize winners.Finally the vote of thanks was delivered by convener of college Day Mr.Living Prephet. He acknowledged the efforts of students, teachers and supporting staff and thanked the esteemed guests for their precious time and presence. This was followed by the National Anthem as a tributeto our nation.

COLLEGE DAY
On March 2, 2020 at 10.30 a.m, Bethlahem Institute of Engineering College celebrated its 12th College Day. The college choir's song to the Lord Almighty opened the vibrant BETHFEST. Principal Dr. N. Selvaraj, Academic Director Dr. Rajidap Nestar, Director Mr. T. Ishan, were among the luminaries on the dais. Principal Dr. N. Selvaraj gave the welcoming address, and Prof. Dr. Praylin Selva Blessy gave a brief introduction to our honoured visitor, Mr. Ramesh Khanna. The annual report, which highlights the accomplishments and extracurricular and co-curricular activities of students and faculty for the 2019–2020 academic year, was given by principal Dr. N. Selvaraj. Shri. Ramesh Khanna in his discourse and interactions with students He encouraged them to think of life as a canvas. Later there was a spectacular display of cultural events displayed.Atlast the institution had also set some rewards for the winners for both faculty and students. The Chief Guest Shri. Ramesh Khanna awarded the different winners and also commended them for their presentation. He encouraged them to pursue their dreams.

The 11th college day Celebration was held at our Bethlahem Institute of Engineering on 1st March 2019 on college grounds. We were honored to have a multifaceted personality, N.S.S. ‘Nellai’ Kannan who is a great orator with the attractive ‘Tirunelveli slang’ on a range of subjects including Tamil literature and politics, as our Chief Guest. His presence added prestige to the event, and his encouraging words inspired both students and faculty members alike.The cultural performances were a highlight of the event, with students showcasing their talents in dance, music, drama, and various other art forms. The performances were not only entertaining but also reflected the diverse cultural heritage of our college.The participants had put in months of practice, and their dedication was evident in the seamless and captivating presentations.

The highlight of the day is the grand Onam Sadhya, a lavish feast featuring a spread of delicious vegetarian dishes served on banana leaves. The campus is decorated with intricate floral arrangements, known as Pookkalam, adding a burst of color and fragrance to the surroundings. Traditional games and performances, such as the Thiruvathira and various folk dances, engage everyone in the joyous celebration. The day concludes with a sense of unity and cultural pride, as everyone comes together to enjoy the rich heritage of Onam.
